Job summary

Prepory in Davie, Florida seeks a Former Admissions Officer (Account Manager) to own family relationships from orientation to final admission decisions. You will run new student orientations, coordinate with coaches, and manage expectations with families while mentoring our admissions team on tough conversations.

You will maintain a caseload of up to 15 students, oversee renewals and enrollments, and collaborate with program leadership to adapt offerings.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a selective or highly-selective college or university.
• Three or more years of experience in college admissions, admissions consulting, or a closely related field.
• Detailed, current knowledge of the U.S. college admissions process.
• Experience in customer success, client engagement, account management, or consultative sales.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or developing other people.
• Extremely detail- and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a high-velocity environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the family relationship: conduct orientations and parent check-ins.
• Translate student progress into terms families understand and act on.
• Proactively communicate with parents to surface concerns early.
• Escalation point for families; collaborate with Client Success Director.
• Handle difficult conversations calmly with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Serve as contact and escalation for coaches navigating client concerns.
• Mentor coaches on client communication and student needs.
• Collaborate with leadership to adjust programming as needed.
• Identify opportunities for additional Prepory programming and enrollments.
• Coach a cohort of up to 15 students with regular advising sessions.
• Guide personal statements, essays, and resumes with actionable feedback.
• Track deadlines and assign tasks to keep students on pace.
• Help students build balanced college lists reflecting interests.
