Job summary

The University of Louisville's Kent School of Social Work seeks an Admissions Counselor III to implement admissions policies and recruit students across BSW, MSSW, CFT, PhD, and DSW programs. You will attend events, follow up on leads, help applicants complete applications, and transfer them to the appropriate program for admission decisions.

The role requires travel within the state, evening and weekend work, and collaboration with the Associate Director to develop recruitment strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in higher education recruitment and admissions preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies for use within and outside of the university.
• Advise students on admissions procedures and policies via in-person, phone, and email.
• Assist with processing program applications as needed.
• Develop recruitment materials and coordinate with marketing and university offices.
• Create and maintain recruitment databases and prepare reports.
