Job summary

Pace University seeks an Enrollment Operations Specialist to support undergraduate admissions in New York, NY. You will provide responsive, student-centered assistance through Slate CRM, manage data with confidentiality, and help streamline admission processes.

The role requires coordinating with staff, running Slate reports, and supporting recruitment events, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education, admissions, enrollment, customer service, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with Technolutions Slate or another CRM/database system preferred.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and determine appropriate solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with prospective students, families, colleagues, and other university partners.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive student and application information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students and families via calls, email, and text during the undergraduate admission process.
• Troubleshoot issues in Slate, monitor application completeness, verify transcripts, and resolve technical issues with admission liaisons.
• Run and analyze Slate reports to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Evaluate and resolve real-time duplicate records in Slate CRM to maintain a reliable admission database.
• Collaborate with the Undergraduate Admission team and staff to promote consistent, efficient admission processes.
• Assist with execution of undergraduate admission recruitment and conversion events, including some evenings and weekends.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive student data and policies/procedures documentation.
