Qualifications

• Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; communicate effectively; read/write English.
• Special Qualification: Admission or registration as a CSU student.
• Maintain 2.0 GPA or greater per semester and cumulative.
• Enroll at CSUSB at least halftime (6 undergrad / 3 grad units).
• International students must have full-time enrollment (12 undergrad / 6 grad).
• Eligible to work in the United States; Payroll: Social Security Card.
• Current CSUSB student in good academic standing (preferred).
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; prior customer service/public speaking a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist prospective students with CSUSB applications and admissions inquiries in person or by phone.
• Schedule appointments for Admissions Counselors.
• Process receipts for transcripts, test scores, and residency information.
• Support Admissions events, programs, and off-campus visits.
• Conduct campus tours for individuals and groups.
• Perform general office tasks and handle confidential materials.
• Attend college fairs representing CSUSB for recruitment.
• Present admissions information to K-12 audiences.
• Participate in call campaigns and maintain accurate records.
