Job summary

California State University, San Bernardino is seeking a Student Assistant to join the Student Financial Services team. You will gain hands-on experience in customer service, office administration, and campus financial operations, including cashiering and handling inquiries at the window and events.

The role is part-time, on-campus only, with hours Monday–Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm) during the academic year and summer shifts available.

Qualifications

• Maintain a 2.0 GPA per semester and cumulatively.
• Enrollment as CSU student (CSUSB) required.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Payroll-related documents (Social Security Card) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in person, over the phone, and by email.
• Assist with clerical tasks and maintain an organized work area.
• Represent SFS at campus events such as orientations and advising fairs.
• Cashier at SFS window and campus events; handle cash transactions.
• Assist staff with daily tasks including payroll and related items.
• Support various duties as assigned.
