Job summary

California State University, San Bernardino is seeking a Student Assistant for the Jack H. Brown College, Dean's Office.

The role includes greeting visitors, handling inquiries, and supporting accreditation-related data tasks and campus deliveries, with occasional reception coverage as needed. Ideal candidates will be CSU students enrolled at CSUSB, able to work at least halftime, and possess strong communication skills, teamwork, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted or registered as a CSU student and enrolled at CSUSB at least halftime.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 per semester and cumulatively.
• Eligible to work in the United States and have a Social Security Card.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors at the JHBC Dean’s Office reception desk as the first point of contact.
• Handle written, verbal, and electronic correspondence and assist with phones.
• Assist JHBC departments with student employment procedures and document filing.
• Maintain and organize files and assist with clerical tasks.
• Make deliveries to university departments and support events coordination.
