Acadia Healthcare is seeking an Intake Specialist to manage the intake process and coordinate with remote admissions and on-site teams. You will establish rapport with clients, orient them to the facility, and ensure completing intake paperwork and initial assessments with sensitivity to behavioral health needs.

The role requires 1–2 years in patient care within behavioral health, solid communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a patient care environment in a substance use/behavioral health setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use required computer programs.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with client/family of potential admissions to address questions and concerns.
• Coordinate facility tours with clients and families who are potential admissions.
• Interface with remote admissions team and on-site clinical team for approvals and planning for client arrival.
• Establish professional rapport with client to ensure they feel welcomed.
• Support arrival process including coordinating assessment/bed placement and searches for prohibited items.
• Orient client to the facility and milieu.
• Liaise with direct care/nursing/clinical team to set up a treatment plan/schedule as needed.
• Ensure intake paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and documented.
• Discuss client’s financial responsibility and take payment as applicable.
• Provide exceptional customer service in line with Acadia Healthcare standards.
