Acadia Healthcare is seeking an Intake Specialist on-site, working Monday through Friday with alternating weekends from 4 pm to 12:30 am. The role involves welcoming clients, coordinating admissions, and preparing paperwork for timely intake processing, while liaising with remote and on-site teams to arrange assessments and bed placement.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a patient care environment in a substance use/behavioral health setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, and ability to use required computer programs.

Responsabilités

• Liaise with client/family of potential admissions to address questions.
• Coordinate facility tours with clients and families who are potential admissions.
• Interface with remote admissions team and on-site clinical team for approvals and travel plans for client arrival.
• Establishes professional rapport with client to ensure a welcoming arrival.
• Supports arrival process including assessment/bed placement and searches of belongings for prohibited items.
• Orient client to the facility/milieu.
• Liaises with direct care/nursing/clinical team to ensure treatment plan/schedule is set up.
• Ensures intake paperwork is completed timely and documentation is maintained.
• May discuss client's financial responsibility and take payment as applicable.
• Provide exceptional customer service in line with Acadia Healthcare standards.
