Job summary

PACS is seeking an Admissions-focused professional to help increase facility census and streamline admissions. You will manage the admissions process, coordinate with nursing and case management, verify insurance, and ensure a smooth intake experience for residents and families.

Ideal candidates will bring at least a high school diploma, preference for healthcare education, and experience in admissions. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to succeed in this role on-site.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s Degree in health care or related field preferred.
• Two years’ Admissions experience preferred.
• LVN or RN license preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions process to ensure a positive experience for residents and families.
• Plan, direct and monitor daily Admissions Department operations to meet census goals.
• Admit patients and verify insurance and admission criteria.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely communication and referrals.
• Maintain bed availability records and intake documentation.
