Job summary

The University of South Florida is seeking an Admissions Evaluator to support the admission process by evaluating applications and academic records, ensuring compliance with USF and SUS guidelines, and data entry into Banner.

This fast-paced role involves communicating with prospective students, parents, and high schools, rendering admissions decisions, and maintaining accurate student data across systems while contributing to a welcoming, efficient admissions operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of office/admin experience.
• Experience with data entry and records processing.
• Ability to communicate with applicants, parents, and high schools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate applications and credentials for admission using guidelines.
• Input student information into Banner and SIS with accuracy.
• Communicate with applicants, parents, and high schools regarding documentation.
• Render admissions decisions or forward to reviewers as needed.
• Process data corrections and updates in the student information system.
• Extract electronic data from other institutions.
• Process admissions lists and reports including wait lists and cancellation lists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
