Job summary

The role requires attention to detail, reliable data entry, and effective communication with prospective students, high schools, and parents. This is an on-site, clerical position within USF's Admissions team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of office/administrative support experience.
• Accurate data entry into student information systems (BANNER).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate applications and credentials for admission using established guidelines.
• Input student information, transcripts, test scores, and data into the USF SIS.
• Communicate with prospective students, parents, and high schools regarding documentation.
• Render admissions decisions and forward information to reviewing authorities as required.
• Process data corrections/updates in the Student Information System.
• Extract electronic credential data from other institutions.
• Manage admissions lists and reports, including wait and cancellation lists.
• Support Admissions functions with additional clerical duties as needed.
