Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking an Admissions Director for a nursing center in Fair Lawn, NJ, to drive patient census, payer management, and referral growth. You will lead the admissions process, manage referral networks, and strengthen online presence through brand stewardship and community engagement.

Responsibilities include coordinating care transitions, improving cross-disciplinary collaboration, and achieving targeted conversion improvements in referrals, tours, and admissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to adjust work schedule based on nursing centers’ business need, specifically incoming admissions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions process and achieve census and payer goals.
• Maintain and expand patient referral sources and ensure quick referral responses.
• Build and maintain the nursing center’s reputation through brand management and community marketing.
• Lead website and social media efforts to ensure positive online presence and improve reviews.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and smooth transition-of-care with strong patient/family communication.
• Aim for high conversion ratios from referrals to admissions and tours to admissions.
