The role ensures funding and coordinates with medical and clinical reviewers to determine the appropriate level of care.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience, plus strong communication skills and computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years relevant experience.
• Must communicate professionally with customers via written, telephone, email and other methods.
• Must be proficient with computers.
• Must adhere to strict attendance standards.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all admissions and referrals to completion of cases, including documentation to appropriate departments and after-hour admissions.
• Respond to referral inquiries promptly and enter inquiry information into tracking systems.
• Provide all required documentation for pre-authorization processes.
• Ensure funding is in place before scheduling travel for an admission.
• Complete pre-screen assessments to determine level of care per psychiatrist recommendation and coordination with medical and clinical reviewers.
• This position works at the main campus in West Jordan, Utah.
