Job summary

The Phoenix Recovery Center in South Jordan, UT is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to guide prospective clients and families through the admissions process and deliver exceptional customer service. You will coordinate intake screenings, verify insurance, and keep documentation up to date.

You’ll work with clinical, medical, and residential teams, participate in rotating on-call shifts, and help with outreach events as needed.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in admissions, healthcare, behavioral health, or related field.
• Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment is a plus.
• Experience with KIPU or other electronic health record systems is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for prospective clients, families, and referral sources.
• Complete intake screenings and coordinate the admissions process.
• Gather and maintain required documentation.
• Verify insurance benefits and communicate with insurance providers as needed.
• Maintain communication and follow-up with prospective clients and referral sources.
• Coordinate with clinical, medical, and residential teams to facilitate admissions.
• Accurately document admissions activity in KIPU and other systems.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for evenings and weekends.
• Assist with occasional community outreach events and relationship-building activities as needed.
