Copper Hills Youth Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead infection control, clinical quality, and staffing within our behavioral health program. This role requires RN licensure in Utah and CPR certification, with oversight of medical records and QA to meet Joint Commission, CMS, and state standards.
You will supervise nursing staff, monitor resident and employee health, coordinate education and vaccinations, and serve as floor nurse as needed, including on-call rotation.
Assistant Director of Nursing
The Assistant Director of Nursing at Copper Hills Youth Center is responsible for infection control, sterile and non-sterile physical care equipment monitoring and surveillance, resident and employee health care education and prevention monitoring and surveillance, medical records and quality assurance to maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, State and local standards. In this capacity, he/she also monitors and evaluates resident services and nursing documentation, prepares employee schedules, and assists in resident and staff vaccinations.
This position is required to work as a floor nurse when needed and will be on call every other week for emergency calls.
