Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts seeks an Admissions Advisor I for our San Jose, CA campus. This on-site role screens and counsels prospective students, guides them through the admissions process, and ensures alignment of goals with program opportunities.

You will manage inquiries, tours, and initial assessments to support enrollment decisions. You will collaborate with Campus Director, maintain candidate records, and participate in community events and graduation ceremonies while upholding the

Qualifications

• Experience in academic admissions or guidance
• Experience using an applicant tracking system
• Strong interpersonal, communication and coaching abilities
• Excellent time management and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Set appointments and campus tours with prospective students.
• Interview candidates to assess fit for programs and life circumstances.
• Educate candidates on program requirements and academic demands.
• Clearly communicate documentation needs and program prerequisites.
• Provide feedback and coaching to candidates after interviews.
• Complete enrollment paperwork with students and update status in the pipeline.
• Prepare enrollment reports for weekly campus meetings.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in campus events and graduation ceremonies.
