Job summary

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is seeking an Admissions Advisor I for its Fresno campus. This on-site, full-time role screens applicants, coaches students, and guides enrollment through the prerequisite process to help students reach their goals.

You will review inquiries, conduct interviews, and coordinate campus tours while communicating program requirements and outcomes. A strong counseling mindset and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in academic admissions environments.
• Associate or higher education degree; bachelor’s preferred.
• Recruitment, interviewing, and selection experience.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills in counseling/advisory roles.
• Excellent time management, detail orientated and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Review web inquiries and calls from prospective students.
• Set appointments and campus tours for applicants.
• Interview candidates to assess fit and goals.
• Educate candidates on program demands and outcomes.
• Communicate program requirements and required documentation.
• Provide feedback and coaching to candidates individually.
• Complete student enrollment forms with applicants.
• Update pipeline status through enrollment stages.
• Prepare enrollment reports for weekly campus meetings.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in events.
• Support admissions best practices and duties.
