Position Summary
This position is primarily responsible for the implementation, support and development processes for the University’s CRM system and admissions processing. This position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of setups, workflows and other technical solutions in the Ellucian Recruiter tool (Microsoft Dynamics platform) and Banner.
The Admission Information Systems Specialist provides overall technical support, digital communication and systems assistance to the Office of Admissions. This position serves as the primary support for CRM tool and systems technology needs serving end users in Admissions, Enrollment Management and related functional users across the university.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
An earned Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Two years of progressive technology experience.
At least 1 year direct experience with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM application or related system.
Demonstrated experience with a major ERP Financial Aid system (Banner, Datatel, PeopleSoft, etc.)
Strong background in the business processes of admission/enrollment/financial aid.
Demonstrated business process improvement experience.
Ability to design, develop and facilitate all reporting functions.
Ability to develop and maintain strong communication and collaboration with other RU systems specialists and data stewards.
Ability to make effective presentations online and in small and large group meetings.
Demonstrated ability to identify, learn and creatively use additional applications that enhance service to employees.
Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships.

At least 2 years’ experience demonstrating proficiency in Ellucian/ Banner or comparable ERP .

Working Conditions
Normal climate-controlled office environment is provided. Job is largely sedentary, but there is a need to move about the office and buildings frequently. Regular use of desktop computer is required, calling for frequent hand/wrist movement and repetition.

Manages and leads our Ellucian Recruiter (Microsoft Dynamics platform) tool.
Coordinates applications-based solutions, including the following functions: Travel Management, Event Management, and Application Process flows, Calendar/Campaign Management, Workflow Management, Reporting and Data Management.
Maintains control of access rights, security settings, and user privileges.
Directs the analysis of and implementation of any new CRM /Enrollment/Admissions modules and on-going use of Banner and other Enrollment Management areas as assigned. Streamlines and otherwise creates efficiencies within Admission and Enrollment Management processes and communication through the use of technological implementations. Coordinates and tests all administrative software upgrades, patches and changes in the system as needed. Working in conjunction with the IT and vendors.

Duty and Responsibility
Conducts quality assurance tests and usability review of all developed solutions and develops implementation plans for future upgrades and enhancements. Facilitates the user testing of all changes made to the CRM application / ERP –Banner and future upgrades. Provisions all new users, provides/manages system training and helps enforce user adoption.
Train core and end users on functional processes; and trains end users in other offices using the train-the-trainer model.

Develops and maintains strong communication with other Roosevelt University Banner module stewards, coordinators, and information systems specialists. Actively participates in cross functional working groups and committees for operational issues from the functional perspective.
Develops, documents, and maintains processes and communications plans for Admissions and EMSS using Banner processes. Facilitates the set-up and maintenance of validation tables, rules, forms, and CRM and Banner processes for Admission and other EMSS areas as assigned.
