Position Overview

The Administratorprovides strategic and operational leadership for hospital departments andservices, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and maintaining aculture of excellence across patient care, employee engagement, and fiscalstewardship. This role partners closely with executive leadership anddepartment directors to advance organizational goals, implement best practices,and promote continuous performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day hospital operations to ensureefficiency, quality, and compliance with state and federal healthcareregulations (including CIHQ, CMS, and Texas Health & Human Services).
  • Lead administrative planning and policydevelopment in alignment with the hospital’s mission and strategicobjectives.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to optimizeservice delivery, staff productivity, and patient satisfaction outcomes.
  • Manage departmental budgets, financialperformance metrics, and cost-containment initiatives.
  • Coordinate accreditation readiness, surveydocumentation, and quality improvement processes.
  • Mentor and support department leaders to fosterprofessional growth and accountability.
  • Represent the hospital in community outreach,professional associations, and inter-facility collaborations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Respiratory, Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Active Texas RN licensure (or equivalent medicallicensure) and minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in anursing or medical role (e.g., Nurse Administrator, House Supervisor, orclinical director).
  • Demonstrated expertise in healthcare compliance,including CIHQ accreditation, CMS Conditions of Participation, HIPAA, andTexas-specific regulations.
  • Strong financial acumen, strategic planningcapability, and leadership presence.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, anddecision-making skills.
