Job summary

Sci Corp is seeking an experienced administrator to manage the overall administrative functions for funeral home, cemetery, and crematory operations in Peoria, IL. You will supervise staff, oversee accounting support functions, and ensure SOX compliance while coordinating cross-department activities.

The role requires strong leadership, payroll oversight, and a dedication to accuracy and compliance, with a focus on providing high-quality service to associates and clients.

Qualifications

• 5 years of administrative management experience with a strong customer service focus.
• 3 years bookkeeping, general office, clerical accounting, and Accounts Payable experience.
• MS Project management and database software experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of two or more full time employees.
• Oversees processing of accounting support functions: billing, verifications, and payments of invoices.
• Coordinates completion and filing of forms and reports; verifies accuracy.
• Administers local HR processes as applicable.
• Reviews time cards and payroll policies and procedures.
• Trains staff in processes and procedures.
• Prepares customer statements.
• Assists associates in ensuring SOX compliance.
