Job summary

Jackson Sumner & Associates is seeking an Office Assistant to support day-to-day operations, events, and administrative tasks. The role involves internal communications, calendar management, and coordinating logistics for volunteer activities with external philanthropic organizations.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional communication. Some evenings/weekends may be required for events.

Qualifications

  • Must be organized, highly detail-oriented, and efficient.
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with various deadlines.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess basic computer knowledge and skills.
  • Must be resourceful, independent thinker and self-sufficient as well as self-motivated.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends when necessary (particularly for JSA events).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; College degree (preferred).
  • 2 years experience in a professional environment or similar role (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with various administrative duties such as internal communications and calendar management
  • Provide support for company events
  • Coordinate and manage logistics for volunteer opportunities with external philanthropic organizations
  • Provide administrative support to the Management Team
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies
  • Assist in Facilities maintenance scheduling and tracking
  • Other duties as assigned
