The Louisiana Department of Health in Baton Rouge seeks a Fiscal Specialist to support Disability Determinations Services. The role handles highly complex, specialized fiscal duties with independent judgment to ensure accurate MER and CE payments and vendor management.
You will verify invoices, maintain vendor data in DCPS, and coordinate with disability analysts and doctors to resolve payment issues and ensure timely reimbursements.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

A suitability determination by the Social Security Administration is necessary to determine whether an employee can be issued credentials in order to have access to Social Security disability data, records, and systems.
