Job summary

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is seeking an active undergraduate student for a Winter Internship Program in Washington, DC. The role focuses on administrative support, document preparation, and internal communications while learning about development work and corporate management of the Bank.

You will assist Front Office with scheduling, translations of technical content, and maintaining trackers, with a heavy emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva for guides and infographics.

Qualifications

• Active undergraduate student in a related field; graduation date after the internship period.
• Fluency in English with working knowledge of another Bank language (Spanish/French/Portuguese) is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; Excel proficiency; PowerPoint or Canva experience; familiarity with SharePoint or Teams.

Responsibilities

• Update internal guidance materials into clear, visual guides for Bank personnel.
• Streamline and optimize internal trackers (Excel-based).
• Organize and standardize the division's internal shared files and folders.
