Job summary

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group seeks an active undergraduate student for a two‑month Winter Internship (Intern Consultant) at our Headquarters in Washington, DC. You will learn about development work, corporate management, and on‑the‑job learning through hands‑on projects.

Responsibilities include integrating tools, creating tutorials, building demonstrations, and developing benchmarking frameworks. Fluency in English is required, with knowledge of another Bank language a plus.

Qualifications

• Active undergraduate student in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Graduation date after internship period.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of another Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and connect different laboratory tools and systems.
• Develop clear documentation and tutorials for laboratory projects.
• Build demonstrations that showcase how multiple technologies work together.
• Develop benchmarking frameworks to evaluate and compare different technical approaches.
• Create educational materials communicating the laboratory’s projects, tools, and results.
