Job summary

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) invites undergraduate students to join the Winter Internship Program in Washington, DC, as an Intern Consultant focused on onboarding and AI initiatives. This paid internship runs January 16 to March 15, 2027, and offers exposure to development work and corporate management in a multinational environment.

Eligible candidates are active undergraduates from member countries, with English fluency and additional languages a plus.

Qualifications

• Active undergraduate student in HR, communications, journalism, international relations, social sciences or related fields.
• Fluency in English with working knowledge of one other Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is a plus.
• Willingness to learn, collaborate and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support AI initiatives by validating data accuracy and testing workflows.
• Plan and execute virtual and in-person onboarding networking activities.
• Provide end-to-end logistical support for onboarding events and sessions.
• Deliver Train the Trainer sessions for onboarding facilitators.
• Develop orientation guides and onboarding materials for the intranet.
