Kentucky Correctional Industries (KCI) was established in 1954 and have since provided goods and services forthe private industry as well as the citizens of Kentucky. Currently, Correctional Industries is comprised of15 separate types of industry, maintained in 8 correctional facilities across the state. CorrectionalIndustries employs more than 700 inmates teaching job skills to reduce recidivism and to make theseindividuals more productive members of society.
KCI is seeking to hire an Administrative Branch Manager responsible for establishing generally acceptedaccounting procedures and practices for the division.
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Five years of professional administrative experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A master's degree in public or business administration or a related field will substitute for one year of the required experience.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business or research experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE
Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting. Minimal travel may be required.
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
