Administrative Assistant (Temporary Pool)

Come join the team at Gettysburg College! We are seeking candidates to serve in temporary roles as Administrative Assistants on either a part-time basis within various departments across campus. Schedules, hours, and duration of appointments will vary.
While this position is temporary, this role offers you the opportunity to become an important part of our campus community, lending your skills and expertise to support our diverse needs.
Administrative Assistants provide administrative and technical support including, but not limited to: departmental reception; managing budgets and procurement processes; accounts payable and receivable; organizing calendars and scheduling meetings; drafting, editing, and composing correspondence; and planning and coordinating travel arrangements.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Three to five years of previous administrative support experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general office experience essential. Successful candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service and have the ability to handle confidential information appropriately, maintain attention to detail consistently, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and collaborate effectively with diverse individuals.
