The MIT Sloan School of Management seeks an Administrative Assistant II to provide complex administrative and programmatic support for the Laboratory for Financial Engineering (LFE) and related activities. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, Sloan School of Management, to provide complex administrative and programmatic support for the Laboratory for Financial Engineering (LFE), its educational programs, and other activities. Will coordinate course and program administration, including timelines, communications, enrollment, instructional materials, learning platforms, and classroom logistics; provide complementary support for the LFE faculty director, including complex calendar, meeting, travel, and speaking-engagement logistics; support research activities, grants, and student/research appointments; handle purchasing, financial transactions, contracts, reimbursements, and account reconciliation; coordinate events; maintain websites, databases, mailing lists, and administrative systems; develop communications, marketing, graphic, and multimedia materials; and support other LFE projects and administrative needs. This is a one-year term position with potential for extension. Expected to work in person five days per week; occasional evening/weekend work and travel may be required.
