Job summary

Justice Resource Institute in Boston is seeking an Administrative Assistant (Full-time) to support our Metro Boston Community Based Services teams. You will handle mailings, data entry, and office systems while collaborating with the Program Director and administrative staff.

The role is 100% on site, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm. A bilingual candidate is encouraged, with licensing reimbursements and strong benefits offered as part of the package.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with mailings and administrative projects.
  • Assist in creating and sustaining office organizational systems.
  • Maintain data entry and tracking systems.
  • Documentation on benefits, workers’ compensation, FMLA, background checks, references, I-9.
  • Manage program supplies and daily functioning areas.
  • Maintain communication with the Program Director and Administrative team.

Are you the Administrative Assistant (Full-time) we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our Boston Community Based services teams and families served!

Who We Are:

Metro Boston Community Based Servicesis a strong grouping of JRI teams helping provide mental health treatment and guidance to youth, parents, families and the community.

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $45,000to $60,000per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, program specific budget parameters, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist with mailings and administrative projects
  • Assist in creating and sustaining office organizational systems, etc.
  • Maintain data entry and tracking systems as assigned.
  • This includes documentation on benefits, worker’s compensation, FMLA, background checks, references, I-9.
  • Responsible for management of areas of daily functioning of program supplies and communication.
  • Maintain positive communication with the Program Director and Administrative team.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • This role is 100% on site, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, no remote options.
  • Bilingual candidates strongly encourage to apply.
  • Office support and human resources experience.
  • Knowledge of office administration, human resource management policies and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Very effective organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills (data input, excel/spreadsheets and ability to learn program specific computer programs), Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Acceptable driving record and state/federal background checks.
