PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) (Old) Education Department seeks an Education Administrative Assistant to handle administrative, operational, and customer service tasks. You will be the first point of contact for inquiries and assist with voucher coordination, scheduling, invoicing, and LMS data reporting.
The role requires a high school diploma, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a healthcare/education setting.
The Education Administrative Assistant provides administrative, operational, and customer service support for the Education Department’s staff and community education programs. This position serves as the initial point of contact for education-related requests, responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, triaging requests, and helping ensure the department’s daily operations run efficiently. Responsibilities include coordinating the hospital’s education voucher system, scheduling and preparing training rooms and education spaces, managing departmental ordering and invoicing, supporting learning management system data entry and reporting, assisting with the Meals That Heal program, and providing administrative support for special projects as assigned by the Director of Education.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. They demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, can prioritize competing requests, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
High school diploma or equivalent and previous customer service experience required. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Previous administrative or office coordination experience, particularly in healthcare, education, or another service-oriented environment, is preferred. Experience with scheduling, invoicing, databases, or learning management systems is beneficial. An associate, bachelor’s, or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
The pay range for this position is $20.37 to $37.50 per hour, based on relevant education, qualifications, and experience
