The Immunization Program within the Department of Health and Welfare’s Division of Public Health is excited to announce an opening for an Administrative Assistant 2 located in Boise.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment and can confidently balance multiple priorities. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite, along with solid business writing abilities, will help you thrive in this role. Attention to detail is especially important. We ask that candidates bring at least one year of experience providing a broad range of administrative support.
In this role, you will support travel arrangements, invoice and payment processing, budget tracking and reconciliation, and purchasing card reviews. You will work closely with our financial unit to ensure adherence to accounting procedures and contribute to the work of the Bureau of Environmental Health and Communicable Disease. The ideal candidate enjoys learning, values teamwork, and looks for ways to improve workflow and processes.
