Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Administrative Assistant for a national nonprofit association focused on advancing public and affordable housing through advocacy, research, policy analysis, and public education.
This is a temporary, approximately three-month assignment working onsite in Washington, DC.
The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day office support as part of a small team, helping ensure administrative and operational needs are handled efficiently. Key areas of support include phone coverage, mail and shipments, recordkeeping, invoice processing, and basic accounting tasks. This role is ideal for a dependable, organized professional who communicates well and is comfortable managing multiple priorities independently.
This temporary opportunity offers $22.00–$24.00 per hour DOE and is scheduled for 21 hours per week. The Administrative Assistant will work onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch. This approximately three-month assignment offers the opportunity to gain valuable nonprofit administrative experience while supporting essential day-to-day operations.
