Administrative Assistant Job Description
The Administrative Assistant is a vital member of the System of Care and is supervised by the Facility Executive Director and/or the Administrator on duty. The Assistant follows assigned daily routines and directives to maintain organizational goals and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Daily communication with staff, corporate executives, and patients.
- Collection of payments from patients.
- Completion and audit of all medical records for each patient upon discharge.
- Assistance to all departments in obtaining any required information.
- General office duties, including handling multiple line phones.
Requirements
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- High level of computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of medical records and HIPAA is a plus.
Schedule
- Full Time: Monday – Friday
- 9:30AM – 6:00PM
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate competitive with experience and location.
