Student Life & Leadership focuses on the development of programs that involve direct interaction and impact on the quality of educational experiences inside and outside of the classroom.
The Administrative Assistant position serves as administrative support for Student Life and Leadership by supervising the student staff who are the initial point of contact for the student experience and guests to the Student Life and Student Government offices responding and referring individuals, as appropriate. The position also provides direct administrative and budget support to the Director of Student Life & Leadership, as well as, coordinates the general office calendar and provides administrative support for core programs and services for the office and the Student Life & Leadership team. The position works collaboratively as a member of a support staff and reports directly to the Director of Student Life & Leadership.
*Valid NC Driver’s License
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
