Job description

Admin Assistant & Business Development Coordinator

On-Site | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | $50,000-$60,000/year | Fort Lauderdale, FL

About the Role

You'll be the right hand to our Managing Attorney on the business side of her practice. She's building the firm's estate planning work, and that means getting in front of the right people - the professional groups, community organizations, and events where the people who need this work actually are. Your job is to find those opportunities, get her signed up and scheduled, and keep every thread that comes out of them from going cold.

This isn't a sales job, and it isn't a legal job. You won't be closing anyone and you don't need any legal background - we'll teach you what you need to know about what we do. What you will do is research, organize, follow up, and keep an attorney who is very busy pointed at the things that matter most. It suits someone with administrative or coordinator experience who thinks like a businessperson: curious about where opportunities come from, comfortable reaching out to people, and organized enough that nothing gets lost. You'd work directly with the Managing Attorney every day, with real room to grow as this side of the firm grows.
