Job summary

Jersey College is seeking qualified instructors for its Nursing Program to deliver classroom and clinical instruction to RN/PN students. The role emphasizes student evaluation, progress reporting, and maintaining licensure-compliant qualifications.

Faculty will participate in faculty meetings, pursue ongoing professional development, and support program goals aligned with college policy. The position requires fostering student success and professional growth within a dynamic nursing education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline.
• Master degree is preferred.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports.
• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records.
• Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
• Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency.
• Attending faculty meetings.
• Maintaining professional qualifications through continuing education programs and in-service training.
• Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration.
