Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-4 years pharma or life sciences sales experience; neuroscience/psychiatry preferred.
• Strong account-based selling skills with demonstrated success.
• Understanding of formulary pull-through and prior authorization.
• Valid driver's license and insurable.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual territory sales objectives.
• Apply resources (call activity, speaker programs, payer access tools, etc.) to best business opportunities; track impact and adjust.
• Engage customers (HCPs and staff) via face-to-face, virtual, or phone.
• Analyze the market to understand local dynamics and execute against trends.
• Develop and execute territory business plans and call plans aligned to territory and national objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and national payer access and identify local pull-through opportunities.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of disease state, treatment approaches, competition, and product to serve as a valued resource.
• Partner with internal/external stakeholders to remove barriers to access.
• Participate in industry meetings, conventions, and exhibits.
• Use a selling model to build a logical, sequential call continuum.
• Take ownership by identifying and resolving problems with consideration for customer and organization.
