Job summary

Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP in Chicago is seeking two experienced Legal Billers to support the firm after implementing Aderant. The role requires strong legal billing skills and hands-on Aderant experience to manage invoices and ensure accuracy.

These temporary positions anticipate potential temp-to-hire opportunities. Onsite training is preferred, with possible hybrid flexibility afterward. Remote candidates with exceptional Aderant experience will be considered.

Qualifications

• Strong legal billing experience required.
• Hands-on Aderant experience (2–3 years).
• Experience with eBilling, BillBlast, and LEDES 1998B.
• Ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process legal invoices using Aderant.
• Manage assigned billing work within deadlines.
• Review invoices for accuracy and client billing compliance.
• Prepare and submit electronic invoices (BillBlast).
• Work with LEDES 1998B files.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
• Coordinate with attorneys and accounting staff to complete billing.
• Share Aderant knowledge and assist colleagues.
