Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP in Chicago seeks two experienced Legal Billers to support their recent Aderant implementation. The roles require hands-on Aderant experience and the ability to manage billing work independently.

These temporary positions offer onsite training with potential hybrid flexibility, and remote candidates with strong Aderant and billing skills will also be considered. Hourly pay is based on experience.

Qualificações

• Strong legal billing experience required.
• Hands-on Aderant experience; 2–3 years preferred.
• Experience with eBilling, BillBlast, and LEDES 1998B files.
• Ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up time.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to start ASAP.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, review, and process legal invoices using Aderant.
• Manage assigned billing work accurately and within deadlines.
• Review invoices for accuracy and client billing requirements.
• Prepare and submit electronic invoices, including BillBlast.
• Work with LEDES 1998B electronic billing files.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, rejected invoices, and electronic billing issues.
• Coordinate with attorneys, billing colleagues, and accounting staff to address questions and complete billing.
• Share Aderant knowledge and assist colleagues as needed.
