Job summary

Shutts & Bowen LLP is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst with deep experience in Aderant Expert to support and enhance the firm’s financial systems environment across Florida offices, including Miami. The role partners with Finance, Accounting, Billing and IT to ensure reliable, efficient operations of Aderant and integrated applications.

The candidate will drive data, reporting and analytics initiatives, develop SQL-based reports and dashboards, ensure data integrity, and support data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, CS, IS, or related field.
• Eight years of experience supporting financial systems in law firms or professional services.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Aderant Expert, including configuration, support, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and SSRS reports to support financial reporting needs.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across Aderant and integrated systems.
• Partner with Finance leadership to enhance reporting capabilities, including dashboards, KPIs, and profitability analysis.
• Assist with data warehouse initiatives and optimize data models for financial applications.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for Finance, Accounting, and leadership teams.
• Configure, support, and enhance Aderant Expert in the Sierra cloud, including billing, collections, time entry, and financial modules.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors on upgrades and integrations.
• Document system specifications, data mapping, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
