Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Aderant Expert Financial Management System and DocuDraft development.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including writing queries and validating financial data.
• Experience developing, supporting, and testing finance applications across Billing, Collections, A/R, A/P, and G/L.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, requirements-gathering, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for partnering with Finance, IT, vendors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, enhancement, and maintenance of Aderant Expert framework customizations (Design Studio forms, SSRS reports, Entity Manager access, EA Pro dashboards, Expert Billing & Collections formats).
• Maintain knowledge of Classic Aderant forms for legacy support and transition needs.
• Coordinate monthly and year-end financial close activities with team members, including data validation and balance checks.
• Document month-end close processes and nightly data build/update steps.
• Plan and lead Aderant version upgrades following migration to Sierra, reviewing docs and assessing risks.
• Troubleshoot and support third-party time entry systems interfacing with Aderant.
• Participate in projects involving integrations with Aderant and related financial systems; evaluate options and secure data transfer.
• Ensure compliance with security, risk, IT, and internal control policies; escalate deviations.
• Analyze finance workflows for automation and create custom reports to support financial reporting.
• Work with Aderant to define SOW tasks for updates in production environment.
