Job summary

Orrick currently seeks a Finance Applications Developer in the Wheeling, WV area to support the Business Systems Support Group. You will analyze complex financial requirements, design robust solutions, automate workflows, and ensure data integrity across Aderant and related systems.

Strong collaboration with IT, vendors, and stakeholders is essential for delivering secure, compliant enhancements. The role emphasizes Aderant Expert customization, upgrade planning, and close-development

Qualifications

Experience with Aderant Expert Financial Management System and DocuDraft development.
Strong troubleshooting and QA testing skills.
Ability to lead projects and coordinate workstreams.
Knowledge of finance and accounting with large data sets.
Experience in a professional services firm preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop Aderant Expert customizations including reports and dashboards.
Maintain legacy Aderant forms and support transitions.
Coordinate monthly and year-end financial close with teammates.
Document month-end close processes and data builds.
Manage Aderant version upgrades post-Sierra migration.
Support third-party time-entry integrations with Aderant.
Collaborate on system integrations with Finance, IT, and vendors.
Ensure compliance with security, risk, IT, and internal controls.
Identify automation opportunities and improve financial reporting.
Define SOW tasks for generic importer jobs with Aderant.
