Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP is seeking a Financial Systems Manager to oversee the Finance department's systems, provide end-user support, and manage customizations for Aderant Expert and related applications. The role supports Dallas, New York, or Washington, DC offices with hybrid work capabilities and leadership responsibilities for the Financial Systems team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, computer systems or a related field is required.
Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years of people or project management responsibility.
Experience with Aderant Expert and extensive customization tools is required.
Advanced MS SQL Server Management Studio and T-SQL skills are required.
Strong Excel and MS Office proficiency is essential.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support Financial Systems team members, including objective setting and appraisals.
Provide guidance to staff and assist with staff development.
Manage and maintain the firms' financial systems (Aderant, iTimekeep, Chrome River, etc.).
Support system upgrades, testing of new customizations, and new initiatives.
Act as liaison between Finance and IT and provide Help Desk support for financial systems.
