Job summary

Cozen O’Connor is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Engineer to join our Financial Systems team. The role focuses on design, development, deployment, support, and ongoing improvement of integrations, reporting, and automated processes for the Finance organization, with emphasis on Aderant Expert.

You will lead technical initiatives, collaborate across Finance and IS, and ensure robust data and reporting solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance or IS related field, or equivalent.
7–10 years of experience with financial systems, business apps, and SQL Server.
Experience with Aderant Expert or similar enterprise platform.
Strong SQL Server, T‑SQL, data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Experience designing SSIS packages and integration solutions.
Experience developing reports with SSRS and other tools.
Experience with Visual Studio; Power BI preferred.
Ability to own and drive technical initiatives with minimal supervision.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for integrations between financial systems and enterprise apps.
Lead technical aspects of financial systems projects from requirements to deployment.
Collaborate with Finance and IS to evaluate requirements and enhancements.
Design, develop, and troubleshoot integrations between Aderant Expert and other apps using SSIS.
Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server database solutions supporting reporting and automation.
Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reporting capabilities for operations and finance.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for applications and processes.
