Job summary

Divergent in Torrance, CA, is hiring an Additive Manufacturing Equipment Engineer II to drive the transition of new L-PBF production equipment into high-volume manufacturing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to stabilize machines, boost reliability, and deliver safe, quality, and cost-effective production across the fleet.

Qualifications include a mechanical/electrical background, RCCA experience, and 4–6 years in manufacturing engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical or related field.
• 4–6 years experience in manufacturing/equipment/reliability engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical/electrical/controls systems.
• Experience with RCCA or root-cause methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Transition new production equipment from qualification into sustained manufacturing.
• Improve reliability, throughput, yield and OEE on assigned machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls and process issues.
• Develop and standardize equipment configurations across the fleet.
• Provide feedback to design engineering on performance and reliability.
• Support equipment validation and factory expansion activities.
