Job summary

Brightview Health in Kentucky is seeking an experienced Counselor to contribute to our treatment team. You will plan and conduct group therapy, complete intake assessments, and apply crisis and de-escalation techniques to support individuals on their recovery journey.

You will assist with treatment planning, monitor progress, coordinate with an onsite multidisciplinary team, and ensure timely documentation in the electronic health record while complying with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active clinical licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments.
• Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with treatment planning and progress monitoring.
• Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
• Attend required meetings, including on-site staff and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Document treatment data in the electronic health record promptly and comprehensively.
• Follow regulatory and company compliance requirements.
