Luna Data Solutions, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Configuration Analyst specializing in ServiceNow CMDB for a contract role. The position requires onsite presence 4–5 days per week and eligibility to work in the U.S.

You will oversee CMDB support, perform health checks, data cleanup, and CI relationships, while ensuring CMDB data supports Change, Incident, and Problem processes. Knowledge of CSDM, CI relationships, and Transform Maps is a plus. ServiceNow Discovery experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• 3+ years of experience with IT Configuration Management Health and Data Management.
• 3+ years of experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• 2 years of experience with Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• 1 year of experience with IT Operations Management.
• 1 year of experience with ServiceNow Discovery.
• 2 years of experience with IT Service Management, ITIL practices.
• 3 years of strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ServiceNow CMDB support services according to SLA, including requests to provision and de-provision CIs, and regular maintenance work such as ServiceNow discovery.
• CMDB Health Checkup, De-Duplication Tasks, Data Cleanup and reporting.
• Responsible for daily administration, stability, and performance of CMDB.
• Responsible for managing the CMDB Health Dashboard administration.
• Create and maintain custom and out-of-the-box integrations.
• Review critical incident outage resolution results and dispositions of failed changes due to CMS-related issues.
• Ensure that CMDB data is available and reliable to support other ITSM processes (Change, Incident, Problem, etc.
• Knowledge of CMDB CSDM and CI relationship.
• Knowledge of CMDB Ownership Process.
