CARE IT Services Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow | ITSM | ITAM Consultant to join our on-site team in Austin, TX. The role emphasizes CMDB management, data integrity, and ITSM alignment with ITIL best practices.

The candidate will own CMDB maintenance, health dashboards, integrations, and discovery tooling while collaborating with Change, Incident, and Problem processes. Strong communication skills are essential for cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT Asset Management (ITAM) experience.
• 3+ years of IT Configuration Management Health and Data Management experience.
• 3+ years of CMDB experience.
• 2+ years with Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• 1+ year with IT Operations Management.
• 1+ year with ServiceNow Discovery.
• 2+ years in IT Service Management and ITIL practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CMDB support services according to SLA, including provisioning/de-provisioning CIs and routine maintenance such as ServiceNow discovery.
• CMDB health checkups, de-duplication tasks, data cleanup and reporting.
• Responsible for daily administration, stability, and performance of CMDB.
• Manage the CMDB Health Dashboard administration.
• Create and maintain integrations (custom and out-of-the-box).
• Review incident outage results and dispositions of failed changes due to CMS-related issues.
• Ensure CMDB data is available and reliable to support other ITSM processes (Change, Incident, Problem, etc.).
• Knowledge of CMDB CSDM and CI relationships.
• Knowledge of CMDB Ownership Process.
• Knowledge of CI and Asset LCM process.
• Knowledge of Transform Maps.
• CMDB Analysis, Reporting, PA, CSA, and Discovery Certifications.

Job Description
