Job summary

Move United's STARS program in Steamboat Springs seeks a Program Coordinator: Equipment, Training & Custom Adventures. This year‑round role leads adaptive equipment systems, staff training, and the development and delivery of Custom Adventures, providing individualized recreation experiences tailored to participant goals and abilities.

The position serves as a technical resource across STARS programs, supporting equipment needs, training, and program delivery throughout the year with hands-on

Qualifications

Lead participant equipment fittings for adaptive ski and snowboard programs.
Modify equipment to meet participant needs through adaptations and modifications.
Maintain knowledge of adaptive equipment, technologies, and best practices.

Responsibilities

Provide direct adaptive instruction across STARS programs, including winter and summer activities.
Lead staff training and continuing education for instructors and seasonal staff.
Develop and deliver technical training and adaptive clinics.
Coordinate with leadership to ensure equipment needs and safety standards are met.
Lead the development and growth of STARS Custom Adventures programming.
Coordinate with Program leadership to align Custom Adventures with mission and operational priorities.
Support daily program operations, staffing, logistics, and field leadership in summer operations.
Provide mentorship and technical support to seasonal staff and interns.
