Job summary

Stanford University’s Adventure Programs team seeks a Coordinator, Outdoor Experiential Programs to support outfitting, logistics, and field operations for student-led trips and SPOT. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of outdoor education experience.
  • Experience with campus recreation programs and leadership development.
  • Valid California non-commercial driver’s license and CPR/AED/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate outfitting and logistical preparation for weekly outdoor programs and field experiences.
  • Oversee program fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and driver orientation processes.
  • Coordinate recruitment, hiring, and training of student staff involved in outfitting operations.
  • Support development, delivery, and assessment of Team Development Course programs and facility readiness.
  • Assist Outdoor Center operations with inventory, maintenance, and service standards.
